Synthetic Biology Breakthrough! Huipu Biotech’s First Recombinant Sea Cucumber Peptide Patent Pioneers a New "Precision Intelligent Manufacturing" Era in Skincare

2025-05-15

From May 12 to 14, 2025, the 29th China Beauty Expo (CBE) was grandly held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). As one of the key exhibitions under the Shanghai Municipal Government's "First in Shanghai" initiative, this edition of CBE was themed "Global New Products, First Launched in Shanghai". It brought together 3,200 cosmetics enterprises from over 40 countries and regions worldwide, attracting professional visitors from more than 100 countries and regions. Xi'an HP Biotech Co., Ltd. made a significant appearance with its OEM business segment, comprehensively showcasing its innovative achievements in the field of synthetic biotechnology, and exploring new paths for the high-quality development of the beauty industry with industry peers.

Technology-led OEM Business: Building a New Ecosystem for Corporate Collaboration

In the 230,000-square-meter exhibition area of this beauty expo, HP Biotech's OEM booth, designed with a modern and minimalist style, showcased its core technology platforms and diversified solutions. The booth highlighted product lines from two core brands—Sinyasha and Jimeihe. Through physical displays, technical panels, and interactive experiences, it conveyed the cooperative philosophy of "technology-driven, precision customization" to industry peers.

As HP Biotech's benchmark brand in the field of medical repair, Sinyasha takes "graded targeted repair" as its technological core and has launched a product matrix covering scenarios such as post-operative care and sensitive skin conditioning. Its core product, the ABC Ectodermal Repair Essence, features a compound system of hyaluronic acid (HA) and ceramides. Through bioenzymatic hydrolysis technology, precise molecular weight control is achieved, providing scientific solutions for skin barrier repair. Jimeihe, on the other hand, focuses on aesthetic skin repair. Tailored to the skin characteristics of Asians, it builds high-efficiency repair products with star ingredients such as recombinant humanized collagen, ceramides, and sodium hyaluronate as the core, demonstrating HP Biotech's in-depth breakthroughs in problem skin repair and technological aesthetic skincare.

In addition, HP Biotech showcased its full-chain service capabilities from raw material R&D to finished product delivery, including GMP Class 100,000 clean workshops, an intelligent traceability system, and a regulatory compliance support system, providing customers with one-stop solutions "from laboratory to market". During the exhibition, HP Biotech's OEM section attracted hundreds of professional visitors from home and abroad for consultations, and preliminary cooperation intentions

have been reached with some enterprises.

In-depth Executive Exchanges:

Insights into the New Blueprint of the Beauty Industry

During the exhibition, HP Biotech's executive team visited pavilions of multiple international brands, emerging domestic brands, and technology enterprises, with a focus on industry trends such as personalized customization. The team conducted in-depth research on several companies applying AI skin detection technology and jointly explored the synergy potential between the "one formula for one person" precision skincare solution and HP Biotech's "synthetic biology + intelligent delivery technology". HP Biotech executives stated: "The competition in the beauty industry has evolved from single products to a contest of technological ecosystems and value propositions. In the future, we will continue to deepen industry-university-research-hospital collaboration, increase investment in synthetic biology, efficacy skincare and other fields, and provide more competitive

solutions for our partners."

As a pioneer in the application of synthetic biology technology in China, HP Biotech has taken a forward-looking approach to building a full industrial chain ecosystem. Leveraging its independently developed HPStide® (sea cucumber peptide) technology and recombinant biomaterial platform, the company has formed a complete technological closed loop covering "raw material R&D – product development – clinical validation – market transformation". Against the backdrop of continuously upgrading beauty consumption demands and accelerated technological iteration, HP Biotech's participation in this exhibition also marks the upgrading of its OEM services from simple manufacturing to full-lifecycle technological empowerment.

"The Beauty Expo is not only a stage for product display, but also a platform for industrial idea exchange," said an executive of HP Biotech Group in the exhibition summary. In the future, HP Biotech will continue to take synthetic biology technology as its engine, adopt an open and cooperative attitude, and work with industry peers to jointly draw the future blueprint of the beauty industry.
